It was a wedding gift in 1959 and has always been kept for good safely on top of the wardrobe. Has seen no use at all really. The purple felt is in good order. The backing behind the knives has browny age spotting. The silver plate has been recently polished and gleams.The handles are all in good order. The box sides are made of silky oak timber. The veneer top is plainer. There are 6 each of all the spoons and forks.
