These dents 10+ continue down the bolster, & onto the handle. There are machine grinding marks on both sides of the blade. There is a slight hollow in the middle of the blade, combined with a high spot a couple inches back. The blade is not currently sharp enough to be put into immediate service.
The knife weighs about 13 oz. The blade is just shy of 12-1/4" long x 2-7/8" tall at the bolster. The thickest part of the blade is just about 5/16. Overall length is just under 17-3/4. For such a large knife, it has a very nice "feel" & excellent balance.
The handle is tight, with the full length rattail protruding through a washer & peened ove Please inspect each photo and come to your own judgment of condition. Where the photos are different from my assessment, the photos take priority over my subjective observations.
Thank you very much for taking the time to look at our auctions, and have fun building. Please do not ask to have your custom form altered in price or made into gift status. YOUR SATISFACTION IS MY GOAL! PLEASE refer to the photographs. I go to great extent to have these be part of the description.
